Define Grid

Command:DEFINEGRID
Icon:

defineGrid
Parameters:None
Operation:Defines parameters of a collected grid

This function lets you define a points grid with a given frequency. You can define any number of grid in one image.

DIALOGUE

Col spacing
Space between grid columns.

Row spacing
Space between grid rows.

Rect
Points grid will be inserted after indicating the angles of a rectangle.

Shape
Grid will be inserted as a polygon.

By elements
First indicate closed polylines where you want to place the grid's points and confirm by DATAPOINT. Then indicate closed polylines without grid's points and confirm by DATAPOINT.

XY plane
You can define a grid's plane in a given reference plane - option avaialble in DEPHOS - TERRA only!!

Grid collect

Command:   GRIDCOLLECT
Icon:

collectgrid
Parameters:None
Operation:Collects height points in a grid.

The function will first ask you about a grid you want to edit. If the grid selection dialogue is empty it means you have to define a grid. To select a grid choose it from a list and click twice.

The task consists in correcting grid's points location considering the critieria of "skipping" points".
For example, if you inserted a new grid and you want to edit it, just select Not edited and click Find first. The programme will set the cursor and the screen on the first point and will make its movement possible. Now you can point a new location of the point selecting DATAPOINT or skip the point by RESET.
With this function you may later browse the skipped points or the points not edited yet.

DIALOGUE

R
Free radius, it is the maximum distance of the cursor from the grid's node.

Edited
Corrected points are taken into consideration.

Skipped
Points skipped in edition of a grid are taken into consideration.

Not edited
Points not edited yet are taken into consideration.

Find First
Makes you skip to the firts point meeting one of these three criteria.

Corrected points are taken into consideration.

Skipped
Points skipped in edition of a grid are taken into consideration.

Set Plane

Command:SETPLANE
Icon:

Set_Plane
Parameters:plane definition modes - see below
Set_Plane_Definition
Operation:defining a plane e.g. H plane (Z=const) block the cursor on a height currently set in the programme. To define a plane, first select the option of blocking the cursor, in this example H plane, then you will be asked about the value of Z Select Point With Z. Select the height, the programme informs that the plane has just been defined The plane is now defined. To activate the defined plane select the Active field on. The remaining planes are defined in the same manner, using programme's suggestions in the lower line.
