Existing maps control
Previous  Top  Next

This control method requires only a pair of photos. Making an orthophotomap with an accuracy depending on a DTM quality to be measured is not necessary. In the flat method measurement accuracy is only a function of aerotriangulation precision or model tuning.
Highly uniform accuracy in the whole area of a project lets you find even local deviation of a map's content caused by surveying net's errors.
The example below illustrates a possibility of verifying sump wells location. The model was covered by a raster of a primary map, and then a map's fragment of the area around the steps was enlarged. Finally, the fragment with wells was enlarged.

Controlling situational and height measuring by geodetic and cartographic centres is a completely new possibility.
