The Mapper is a graphic environment where you can run functions and applications so that you can draw or edit elements.

Differences between 2D and 3D:
2D: It's a CAD programme mode. You can create images with XYZ coordinates elements (in three-D space). When you run the programme you can work in a few views with optional observation orientation.
The task consists in drawing elements such as lines, arcs etc. You can save the created image in a file of .det extention.

3D: It's a digital autograph's photogrammetric mode. You can draw a vector image in three-D space using a photogrammetric stereoscopic model . After running the programme you will be asked about a model in the select model dialogue, where you can also choose a photogrammetric project. Once you choose a model photos are displayed and you can start the task. You can save the created image in a file of .det extension.
